Balayage is freehand painting. Colour is swept onto the surface of the hair in soft, vertical strokes, so the result grows out gracefully with no hard line. It suits anyone who wants a low-maintenance, sun-kissed finish.
Ombre: a graduated fade
Ombre is a horizontal gradient — deeper at the roots, melting into a lighter shade through the lengths. It is bolder, more deliberate, and beautiful on long, straight hair.
